Semaglutide Amount

Starting out with 2 units

Starting out with 2 units

Starting out with 2 units

The starting dose is a TEENY TINY 2 units on day one. On day 4 you will give 3 units for a total of 5 units for the week. Starting with a split dose like this helps us minimize nausea the first week.  Thereafter you will only dose once a week.

Week 2

Starting out with 2 units

Starting out with 2 units

Week 2 we will start you on 5 units (0.25 mg) weekly. I will give you your dose in units rather than mg because that's the number you'll see on your syringe. You will probably stay at 5 units for 3 weeks or so, depending on your individual response.

Maximum Dose

Starting out with 2 units

Maximum Dose

50 units (2.4 mg) is the maximum dose. This dose can be maintained as long as needed.

  • If you are unsure that you have drawn up the correct dose, please check with me first.
  • Also, please do not give yourself extra in hopes that you will lose weight faster.
  • A dose that's too large can cause severe nausea and vomiting.
  • It's not a race. If you have success on a lower dose there's no reason to ramp up fast. Each person and each response is different.
